Junior Adrenaline: Our Future Stars is a player development program designed to challenge the young player who is seeking additional training and has an unconditional interest to advance their game to the next level. This program is open to any U7 players who are currently progressing quickly with their current team. The program will be hard work but very rewarding.
All aspects of the development program are based around basic soccer skills through creative, challenging, and FUN training sessions. All sessions will have realistic goals set forth by the staff and will be enhanced by a positive environment where each child will feel free to be themselves to develop their self esteem and confidence on and off the field. Our goal is for the player to always have fun while constantly developing creative soccer skills.
At this age; repetitious drills are vital to the child’s development. The most essential skills in soccer are the players “first touch” and learning the individual mastery of the ball. This will be a priority in training and games, especially in the next 2 seasons. As these skills are mastered, the game becomes easier to both teach and learn.
Philosophy:
The result of a game isn’t the most important factor at this age. We certainly will not make that the focal point of our training! We do feel that competition among kids playing games (of any kind) will always exist and making soccer “fun” at the younger ages does not mean that competition is removed either. It just needs to be managed properly. Good competition is positive and healthy. Scoring goals and out playing your opponent are fundamental parts of soccer. We will allow the children to enjoy this aspect without making it the primary focus.

At Greater Arlington Soccer Club on June 5th, 2010 @ 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Come in complete uniform - Bring Water!!!)
Age Requirements:
Can not have been born before 8/1/03- Currently U7 Only – Some 5 year olds considered
Advanced League:
League will consist of 6 teams of 8 players. The teams will play each other 2x per season.
Program Offerings:
Advanced Skill Training, Certified Coaches, Competitive Environment & Lots of fun for the player!
Players Accepted:
48 dedicated players that have the desire, focus, skill and discipline to progress (Boys and girls)
Coaching Assignments:
Each team will have 1 head coach, 1 assistant coach, 1 team manager (Parent)
Coach Openings:
We currently need more coaches; if you think this program fits your profile, please inquire.
Training:
2 days a week for 1.5 hours per session (One of those sessions will be with a paid skills trainer).
Training Strategy:
Keep it fresh! – Basic training, Group training, Skills Training, Station drills, Fun days & more
Expense(s):
$100 for registration + $20 for (ball, practice jersey, additional game jersey) must have 2 different colors.
The paid skills trainer is an additional fee of $30 per month per player; trainers are on the field (Monday-Tues–Thursday) from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
The $100 registration fee will be paid to Greater Arlington Soccer Club, Inc. The $20 for (ball, practice jersey, additional game jersey) and $30 per month will be paid to the Premier (advanced) program.
