Attached is a flyer that we would like you to forward to the players parents on your team that you feel have the ability to compete at a higher level. Nobody knows their players like the coach. We are depending on you to make a sound recommendation for the good of the player, their parent, and Greater Arlington Soccer Club, Inc. This program gives our young athletes access to advanced training and competition.
The program isn't for all players, it is designed for the U6 player that excelled, showed a true desire to play hard, stayed focused and played determined soccer all season long. There are some 5 year olds that will be accepted into the program.. You can determine who they are. It is obvious that the current U6 coaches have done a tremendous job with these kids. We have recognized a lot of talent at this age level this year and we are excited about the possibility of continuing to build these players into future stars. You have developed some good little players for the future of Greater Arlington Soccer Club, Inc.
Coach, it is crucial to the players’ future development to make the right call on their behalf. If some coaches (not you) continue to put the primary emphasis in building a 10-0 recreation team, where kids are merely tools for winning instead of placing the child in the proper growth environment, there is a visible injustice to that player, their parents, and the club as a whole. If the player(s) were strong for you this season, it is likely that they should consider enrolling in the program. What is best for the player? That is the real question.
We are only offering this program to the 5 & 6 year olds to kick-off the program, because we want the players to have 4 full seasons of training before they go to the U9 premier level. That is something that we as a club will be organizing over the next several seasons.
We are asking you for your help. We are attempting to create a superior learning environment for all players at the club. We have to start small, slow, and smart in order to accomplish these goals. You are a huge part of its future success and we thank you in advance for your support with the Junior Adrenaline program (Our Future Stars).
If you would like to coach a team in this program, please let us know because your participation is vital to this program and this club. Your dedication and commitment to our youth is recognized and applauded - we can't do any of this without you!
